Sheepskin's unique properties have been recognised for centuries, and used in clothing, footwear, furnishings, nursing and infant care. No wonder as they offer comfort, durability, moisture absorption, easy care. The fleece of sheepskin has excellent insulating properties and it is also resistant to static electricity. Wool is considered by the medical profession to be hypoallergenic. We do not recommend machine or hand washing as it may affect the appearance of the natural wool fibres and the leather pelt. Dry cleaning is a safer option.
